Singapore

Singapore is a metropolitan city with 4.24 million people. The main island has a total land area of 682 square km. Singaporeˇ¦s strategic location is a gateway to the regionˇ¦s resources, talents and markets. It is well known for its stable political and social environment, strong infrastructure, and skilled work force.

The Singapore Government has announced on 18th April 2005 that two Integrated Resort Casinos will be built on Marina Bay site and the island resort Sentosa. The casinos are expected to be operating by 2009. The Singapore property market is showing signs of recovery and visible improvement in the high-end market. Developments like The Sail @ Marina Bay and The Berth at Sentosa Cove are having resounding sales. The recent property policy changes in relaxing of real estate financing and foreign ownership rules will enhance a positive effect into the property market. These government measures will boost the investorsˇ¦ confidence.
